Jack Rowland, Jr

Jack H. Rowland, 82, of Brookeland, Texas died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his residence. A native of Benida, OK., he has lived in Brookeland for 13 years, and was retired switchman with Kansas City Southern. Jack served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jack is survived by his wife Margaret Rowland of Brookeland, son David Keith Miller, Jr of Orange, brother Bob Ryan Rowland of Fort Worth, TX., sisters JoAnne Chance of Nederland, and Marion Williams of TX., sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
