Jackie Claudine Navarre

Claudine Navarre, 74, died on Monday, July 20th, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. A longtime resident of Winnie, TX, Claudine was a member of Old Faith Chapel in Vidor and an avid bird watcher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many and will be greatly missed. Claudine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Navarre, 3 daughters, Patricia Alt and husband Bill of Fannett, Mary Taggart and husband Stephen of Pleasure Island, and Martha LeBlanc and husband Todd of Beaumont. She is also survived by 2 sons, Billy Navarre and wife Becky of Ft. Worth, TX and Joseph Navarre and wife Peggy of Winnie, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Claudine's life will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Faith Chapel in Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Old Faith Chapel, P.O. Box 39, Vidor, TX 77670.
