James Alexander Parkhurst, Jr.

James A. Parkhurst, Jr., 33 died April 28, 2016 at his residence in Rose City, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and served in the U.S. Marine Corps and attended the U.S. Army Ranger school. James liked to hunt and fish in his spare time. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. James is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Smith and husband Lee Collins of Vidor, father, James Alexander Parkhurst Sr. of Batson, Texas, 1 sister, Kandis Lowery of Beaumont, and 1 brother, Jesse Collins of Vidor. He is also survived by his grandparents, Patricia and Archie French, uncle, Michael French of Beaumont, and his aunt, Lisa Bich of Hurron, SD.
