James Carroll Johnson

James C. Johnson, 62, of Vidor died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his residence. A native of Magnolia, Mississippi, he was a longtime resident of Summit, MS before moving to Vidor in 2010. James was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Vidor and served his country in the US Army During Vietnam. He was a member of the DAV Post #236 in Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, April 27, 2014 at First Pentecostal Church. James is survived by his wife Carolee Johnson of Vidor, TX, daughter Aleena Faith Johnson of Vidor, TX, son Jimmy Johnson of Kansas City, KS, sister Glory Newman and her husband Mark of Summit, MS, Betty Sue Marcos of Lexington, KY, mother Ernestine Reeves of Summit, MS, nephew Chris Newman of Summit, MS, niece Melissa Fontenot of Oxford, MS, and great-niece Raylan Christopher Fontenot of Oxford, MS.
