James Currey Carlton, Sr

James C. Carlton, 67, of Graysville, TN died Friday, September 4, 2009 in South Haven, MS. James was born August 19, 1942 in Beaumont, TX to Joseph and Jewel Carlton. James was a longtime Vidor resident before moving to Tennessee in 1987. He was a machinist with Lucey Boiler Company in Chattanooga, TN and served his country in the US Navy. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. James is survived by his sons James Carlton, Jr and his wife Jenny of Lumberton, TX, Les Lightfoot of Vidor, TX, Craig Lightfoot of Tulsa, OK, daughters Lawri Carlton of Vidor, TX, and Candace Lightfoot of Chattanooga, TN, brother Joey Carlton of Dallas, TX, sister Velva Gill of Houston, TX, 5 grandchildren and he was married to Karen Lightfoot for 21 years.
