James Douglas Franklin, Sr

James D. Franklin, 56, of Vidor died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. James was a longtime resident of Houston, TX, before moving to Vidor 5 years ago. He was a glass glazer and attended Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. James is survived by his sons James Franklin, Jr of Silsbee, TX, Robert Franklin Port Neches, TX, and Johnny Fagg, Jr of Vidor, TX, brother Al Franklin, Sr of Spring, TX, and Don Walton of Houston, TX, sisters Pat Wilcox of Vidor, TX, Kathy Nagle of Fannett, TX, and 7 grandchildren.
