James Garfield Zinn, Jr.

James G. Zinn, Jr., 69, of Evadale, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at his residence. A native of Apollo, PA., James was a longtime resident of Evadale, and was a retired master electrician with M & I Electric. James served his country during the Vietnam Era. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. James was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Jaycee Biscamp. James is survived by his sons Jim Zinn, III, and Daniel Zinn both of Vidor, daughter Jenny Dantzler of Beaufort, SC., sisters Carol Van Slyke of Jefferson, OH., Shirley Hall Mesa, AZ., Faye Burch of Morrison, OK., June Maynard of Andover, OH., and Barbara Hale of Rockcreek, OH., seven grandchildren: Destiny Zinn, Kayla Biscamp, Daniel Zinn, Jr., Shelby Zinn, Michael Dantzler, Angel Dantzler, and Vickie Dantzler, three great grandchildren: Kayden Zinn, Averie Zinn, and Graycee Biscamp.
