James Larry Moorman

James Larry Moorman, 83, of Vidor, died Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at his home. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor. He served his country with the U.S. Air Force. He loved fishing and hunting, working as a refrigeration technician, and most importantly spending time with his grandkids. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Memorial FUneral Home of Vidor and James' funeral services will begin Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with the visitation from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Doretta Moorman of Vidor, TX, children: Regina and husband Terry Sanders of Vidor, TX, Stuart and wife Wendy Moorman of Vidor, TX, and Jason and wife Jeanine Moorman of Green Acres, WA, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Iona Moorman, brother Don Moorman, and sister Darlene Fomby. A special thanks to Danelle Paninski for dropping everything and giving all her time to care for her grandfather, James in his time of need.
