James Phillip Seigrist

James P. Seigrist, 50, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. A native of Little Rock , AR, he lived in Vidor for 46 years. James was a self-employed contractor and a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005 at memorial Funeral Home. James is survived by his wife of 29 years: Fredonna Seigrist of Vidor, TX, daughters: Jamie Durmon and Jan Opferkuch both of Vidor, TX, parents: Vermon and Lois Seigrist of Vidor, TX, brothers: Benny Seigrist and Clint Seigrist both of Vidor, TX, sisters: Naomi Schafer of Vidor, TX, Barbara Haining of Ward, AR, Lois Faye Senn of Longview, TX, Vanessa Young of Vidor, TX, Billie Will of Vidor, TX, and granddaughter: Celeste Durmon.
