James "Red" Leo Brown

James "Red" Leo Brown, 80 of Mauriceville, TX died Sunday, May 9th, 2021 at his residence. A native of Clarks, LA, he was a longtime resident of Mauriceville, TX. James is a member of First Baptist Church of Mauriceville and was a retired industrial mechanic with Goodyear Chemical in Beaumont. James served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves . He was a member of Backwood Blue Grass and Gospel Band, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Graveside services will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 12,2021 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. James is survived by his wife of almost 60 years Jackie Brown of Mauriceville, TX, daughter Pam Whitney of Nacogdoches, TX, son Tobe Brown of Mauriceville, TX, brother Larry Brown, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
