James Rufus Bryant

James Bryant, 62, of Vidor died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Cleveland, AL, he lived in Vidor for 21 years. James was a self-employed carpenter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2005 at The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. James is survived by his wife Iris Bryant of Vidor, TX, son: Preston Karl Bryant of Vidor, TX, daughters: Debra Townley, and Denise Leverkuhn both of Vidor, TX, Cathy Smith and Aritha McConnell both of Alabama, brother: D.L. Bryant of Alabama, sisters: Annie Ruth Hogeland, Marie Thomas, Flonez Huchinson, and Sue Robertson all of Alabama, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
