James Waylon Griffin, Sr.

James Waylon Griffin Sr., 81, a long time resident of Vidor died on Monday, January 26th, 2015, in Round Rock, Texas. He was a Free Mason of the Myrta Lodge #658 in Warren, Texas and also a member of the Paso Fino Horse Association. James is a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired after 23 years of service to his country. He is survived by his wife Reba Griffin of 57 years, daughter, Lou Ann Parsonson and husband Dan of New Oxfordshire, PA, son, James Waylon Griffin, Jr. and wife Sally of Austin, TX. James is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Segrest and wife Ethel of Beaumont, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Segrest. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Williams Cemetery in Warren, Texas.
