Janice Bryan

Janice "Gc" Bryan, 83, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor and served on various committees. Janice volunteered at the Christian Care Center and loved to go shopping and read, but she especially loved to spend quality time with her 2 grandsons. She was special to a lot of people and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Bud Bryan of 63 years, daughter, Kaye Guthrie and husband Merv of Vidor, 2 grandsons, Chad Norman of Lumberton and Andrew Guthrie and wife Samantha of Texas City, TX. She is also survived by a great grandson, Caleb Guthrie, sister, Dorothy Howell of Vidor and many nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Brown. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 beginning at 6:00p.m. at First Baptist Church of Vidor. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at First Baptist Church of Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
