Jean Holtsford Prausa

Jean Prausa, 81, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at her daughters residence in Buna. She was a native of Florence, AL, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jean was a retired teacher with VISD and was a member of the Texas Teachers Association. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Robert Charles Prausa, son Barry Paul Prausa, parents Frank and Vera Holtsford, brother Jimmy Holtsford. She is survived by her sons Paige Allen Prausa of Buckeye, AZ, Randall Phillip Prausa of Jacksonville, FL, daughter Pam Andrea Crador of Buna, TX, 9 grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way.
