Jerry "J.D." Dale Barnett

Jerry "J.D." Dale Barnett, 66, of Vidor died Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at his residence. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. J.D. was a retired Pipe Fitter / Welder and a member of Local Union # 195. He loved to cook and bbq and dance. He had a knack for building things and liked tending to his garden. He was also a big fan of Mustangs. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Sunday, December 12th, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a graveside service the following day Monday, December 13th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park. J.D. is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Amanda Barnett of Vidor, TX, his daughters Katrina Barnett of Vidor, TX and Christy Jetton of Beaumont, TX, his son J.D. Barnett of Beaumont, TX, his sisters Alice Leaving of Vidor, TX and Zandra Mc Donald of Vidor, TX, as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
