Jessie L. Carrell

Jessie L. Carrell, 90, of Vidor went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 13, 2007. A native of Silsbee, TX, she lived in Liberty most of her adult life until moving to Vidor five years ago. Jessie was a retired Nurses Aid. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Cooks Cemetery in Liberty, TX at 2:00 p.m.. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jessie is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Louis Carrell. She is survived by her sons Herman Dowers and his wife Margie of Vidor, TX, Claude Dowers and his wife Barbara of Vidor, TX, daughters Dorothy Richardson and her husband Larry of Kirbyville, TX, Patricia Taylor of Houston, TX, step-son Joseph L. Carrell, Jr of Houston, TX, Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
