Jimmy Earl Hardy

Jimmy E. Hardy, 47, of Spurger died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Lake Charles, LA., Jimmy was a longtime resident of Vidor, before moving to Spurger 2 years ago. Jimmy was a handyman. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Ford Cemetery in Newton. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Margie and Doug Nichols, father Thomas Earl Hardy, brothers Thomas Wade Hardy, and Larry Joe Hardy. Jimmy is survived by his son Joshua Earl Hardy, brothers Rick Hardy and wife Patrisha of Spurger, Eugene Hardy and wife Brenda of Orange, Mark Hardy and wife Kristi of Silsbee, Billy Hardy, and George Hardy both of Orange, sisters Rhonda Lewis and husband Lonnie of Orange, Carole Newsome and husband Richard of Bridge City, Millissa Renalds and husband Whon of Vidor, and Ruby Richardson and husband Chad of Bullard, TN.
