Jimmy Lewis Chesser

Jimmy Chesser, 83, of Vidor died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Vidor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jimmy was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a retired electrician with IBEW Local Union 479. He was a member of North Main St. Church of Christ and he served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation to follow the service. Jimmy is survived by his wife Mavis Chesser, sons David Chesser and his wife Michelle of Vidor, TX, John Chesser and his wife Shelley of Beaumont, TX, daughter Cheryl Richey and her husband Tillman of Orange, TX, father Louis Chesser of Vidor, TX, brothers Gaylon Chesser of Buna, TX and Jerry Chesser of West Point, GA, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
