Joe H. Zatopek

Joe H. Zatopek, 80, of Vidor died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Columbus, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 46 years, and was a retired supervisor with Goodyear. Joe was a member of the 1946 Columbus High School Cardinals Regional/State Champ Football Team, and an avid fisherman and hunter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Joe was preceded in death by daughter Jodie Kline. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Zatopek of Vidor, sister Juanita Muesse, niece Barbara Klying and husband Jimmy, and nephew Allen Muesse all of La Marque, TX.
