John Charles Smith

John C. Smith, 58, of Vidor died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Spokane, WA., he has lived in Vidor for 2 months, and was a truck driver. He served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the VFW. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his wife JoAnn Smith of Vidor, brothers Richard Prewitt and Gary Black both of Vidor, and Ron Smith of Nederland, sisters Doris Prewitt Gentz of Vidor, and Danelle Ledux and her husband Frenchie of Nederland, and his grandparents Lillie and Bill Barnett of Beaumont, TX.
