Johnny Melvin Kohn, Sr

Melvin Kohn, 68, of Vidor died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Voth, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Melvin was a Pipefitter\welder with the Local Union 195 in Nederland and was a member of Old Faith Chapel Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Melvin was survived by his wife of 47 years Joyce Kohn of Vidor, TX, son Mel Kohn and his wife Tina of Commerce, TX, daughter Debra Anders and her husband Billy of Evadale, TX, mother Margaret Kohn of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Derek Tortoris, Brooke Anderson, Heather Anders, Joseph Jones, Andrew Kohn, Natasha Anders, Michael Sala and a great-grandchild Kyleigh Jones.
