Joseph H. Manuel, 63, of Vidor died Monday, August 28, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Iowa, LA., he has lived in Vidor for 30 years, and was a self-employed mechanic. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his daughters, Sue Ross of Little Rock, AR., Melissa Hawkins of Vidor, and Tammy Jolly of Salt Lake City, UT., brothers, Daniel Manuel of Dry Creek, LA., Donald Manuel of Villages, FL., and Freddie Manuel of Moss Bluff, LA., and one sister, Wilda Gunn of Youngsville, LA., eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
