Joyce Carol Wagner Wilson, 69, of Vidor, Texas, passed Thursday, September 10, 2009 with her family by her side. Born June 12, 1940 in Chester, Pennsylvania, the daughter Henry Wagner and Mildred Stone Wagner, and has been a resident of Vidor ,TX where she lived out the remainder of her life along with her husband James Purvis Wilson.She is blessed with her family, survivors including husband- James Purvis Wilson; daughter- Lisa Hanks Sanders and her husband Michael Sanders; son- Ricky Hanks, daughter- in law Barbara Hanks Nixon; son- Bobby Hanks and his wife Roxanne Hanks; step- daughter Phyllis Hall and Debbie Wilson; brother Henry (Sonny) Wagner, Jr. and his wife Barbara; sister Linda Runkle and her husband Bill; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.\r\n


"Saying she loved her grandchildren would be an understatement, they were her life\"! They are: granddaughters, Christina Hanks Droddy and her husband Raegan; Loreal Blanchard; Britlyn and Blakleigh Sanders; Echo Hanks; and Heather Askew. Grandsons, Cody Hanks and his wife Monica; Jme Blanchard and his wife Kayla; Chaz Hanks, Josh and Luke Saunders.
them so much, so they gave her more to love with ten Great Grandchildren:
Kohlton, Kameron, Konnor, Trace, Branson, Hadlee, Paris,Tanner,Miranda and Zach.
She is preceded in death by her parents-Henry Wagner and Mildred Stone Wagner; brother, Wayne Wagner and Great Grandchildren, Kain, Kohl and Karter Droddy.
She is the most loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Best Friend you could ever ask for! Always there, caring and loving everyone is what she enjoyed most. We will cherish her memory and always keep her close. Her grace and beauty will never fade. \"Thank you God for sending us our angel, for she has blessed us with so much\".
To celebrate her life, a memorial will be held at the Vidor Memorial Funeral Home, on Sunday the 13th at 2: 00 P.M.
