Joyce Laverne Jones

Joyce L. Jones, 67, of Vidor died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Christus St. Mary’s Hospital in Port Arthur. A native of Hamilton County, TX, she resided in Vidor for 34 years. Joyce was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral services will held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 at Votaw Worship Center in Votaw, TX, with burial to follow at Votaw Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Votaw Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Carmen Lynn Jones. Joyce is survived by her husband Douglas Eugene Jones of Vidor, TX, sons: William Douglas Jones and Donald Eugene Jones both of Vidor, TX, daughters: Brenda Joyce Westmorland of Thomasville, AL, Linda Marie Jones Anderson of Rose City, TX, sister: Daralene Davenport of Noon Day, TX, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
