Joycie Mae Hanks

Joycie M. Hanks, 80 of Vidor died Sunday, May 30th, 2021 at Vidor Health and Rehab. A native of Beaumont, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Joycie was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, TX. She worked for VISD as an office aid and substitute teacher for 13 years. Joycie enjoyed painting and making floral arrangements. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm and the funeral at 2:00 pm Wednesday June 2, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Joycie was preceded in death by her son Kevin Hanks, brothers Lonnie Rainwater Jr. and Larry Rainwater. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Ernest Hanks, son Keith Hanks Sr. and his wife Tracey, brother Johnny Rainwater all of Vidor, TX, 3 grandchildren Keith Hanks Jr and wife Hillary, Morgan Hanks and fiance Brice, Owen Hanks and fiance Dakota, Stefanie Bouillion and 4 great grandchildren Hayleigh, Tre, Brax and Stefan.
