Karen Gay Gifford

Karen G. Gifford, 59, of Port Neches, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at her residence. A native of Cleveland, OH., Karen was a longtime resident of Port Neches, and was a retired LVN. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Karen was preceded in death by her father Michael J. Gifford, step-father Jean Baptiste 'JB' Gay, and her nephew Desmond Hebert. Karen is survived by her mother Treba Okun of Vidor, sisters Sharron Hanley of Vidor, Pam Lewis and husband Paul of Nederland, and Sonja Gay of Montgomery, TX., nephew Cody Hebert of San Diego, CA., and her beloved cats Weezer, and Pan-Pan.
