Kathi Lee Goodman

Kathi Lee Goodman, a cherished member of the Vidor community, passed away peacefully at her home on February 8th, 2024. Known for her love of simple pleasures and unwavering devotion to her family, Kathi will be remembered for her gentle spirit and kind heart.

A longtime resident of Vidor, Kathi found solace and joy in the little things in life. Whether she was engrossed in playing games on her phone, diligently completing word searches, or simply sitting back and listening to her favorite rock music, Kathi embraced each moment with contentment and tranquility. Her beloved canine companion was a constant source of comfort and companionship, adding warmth to her home and heart.

Above all, Kathi cherished the time spent with her family. As a devoted mother, she leaves behind her daughters Angela Maddox of Vidor, TX, and Brandi Chiappi of Bridge City, TX, whom she loved dearly. Her sisters, Patricia Morris of Beaumont, TX, and Wanda King of Caney, KS, share in the loss of their beloved sibling.

Kathi's legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Amber Johnson and Andrew McCabe, and her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Loralie, Lailee, and Lathan, who will carry forward her spirit of love and simplicity.

In addition to her immediate family, Kathi touched the lives of many others, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting impact. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Rodney Phillips, and her sisters Mona Harrington and Sharon Campbell.

As friends and family gather to honor Kathi's memory, may they find comfort in the legacy of love and joy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with fondness and affection.
