Kathryn Frances Fontenot

Kathryn F. Fontenot, 80, of Vidor died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at her residence. A native of Woodville, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Kathryn enjoyed working outside in the yard and was an animal lover. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Evadale, TX, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale, TX, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, June 5, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of VIdor. Kathryn is survived by her sons Lawrence Kent Christian of Evadale, TX, Kyle Roland Christian and his wife Keisha of Silsbee, TX, daughters Deborah Pitts St. John of Dallas, TX, Tonya Christian Cheek and her husband Robert of Evadale, TX, brother Glenn Anderson Woodville, TX, sister Rose Chambers of Evadale, TX, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Fontenot, granddaughter Stacey Lane Rainey, sisters Dorothy Proctor and Mildred Aucoin.
