Kenneth Clyde Hughes

Kenneth C. Hughes, 76, of Orange died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Port Arthur, Kenneth was a longtime resident of Orange, and a retired professional fishing guide. Kenneth served his country in the United States Air Force. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial visitation and celebration of life will be held from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Orangefield Fire Station, 9540 Hwy 105, Orangefield, Texas. Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter Aurora Leigh Elyas, parents William Clyde Hughes and Doris Hale Hughes. Kenneth is survived by his wife LeVonia Hughes of Orange, sons Anthony Layne Elyas of Orange, Aaron Lucas 'Luke' Hughes of Orange, Randall Jay Hughes of NM., daughter Tanya Varee Hughes of San Antonio, sisters Barbara Coburn of Lake Livingston, TX., and Peggy Romero of Vidor, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
