Lamar 'Doc' Junior Holliday

Doc Holliday, 76, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at his residence. Doc was born September 18, 1933 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi to Jimmie and Eunice (Boleware) Holliday and has lived in Vidor for 41 years. Doc was a Retired Warehouse Supervisor and served his country in the United States Army during Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Doc is survived by his Wife, Mattie Holliday of Vidor, TX, sons Randy Holliday of Nederland, TX and Danny Holliday of Vidor, TX., brothers Jerry Holliday of Laurel, MS and Billy Holliday of Henrico, NC, sister Joyce Anderson of Jackson, MS.
