Larabea Jordan

Larabea “Bea” M. Jordan, 73, of Vidor died Saturday, November 19, 2005 at her residence in Vidor. A native of Kaplan, LA, she resided in Vidor since 1955. Bea was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was a reporter for the Orange Leader for 27 years. She was President of the Chamber of Commerce in 1985 and 1988 in Vidor, she was a member of Go Texan Committee, the 4H and FFA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bea is survived by her husband of 57 years Clyde R. Jordan of Vidor, TX, son: Dr. Billy Jordan of Vidor, TX, daughters: Rebecca Michelli of Baker, LA, Lori “Patty” Walker of Vidor, TX, brother: Joseph “Joe” Manceaux of Groves, TX, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
