Larry "Rock" Lee Sanders Sr.

Larry "Rock" L. Sanders Sr., 80, of Vidor, died Friday, December 17th, 2020 at Baptists Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Hornbeck, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Larry was also a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Vidor and served his country with the U.S. Army. He retired from Mobil as an electrical supervisor. In his free time he enjoyed going to the lake and fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.Cremations arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Vidor Church of Christ. Larry was preceded in death by his daughter Laura Falls. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Wanda Sanders of Vidor, TX, daughter Julie Williams of Vidor, TX, sons Larry Lee Sanders Jr. of Silsbee, TX, David Kelly of Cave City, AR, Mark Thompson of Vidor, TX, sister Verna Mae Ford of Hornbeck, LA, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
