Laura Jane Odom

Laura Jane Odom, 68, of Beaumont, passed away on Monday, January 15th, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Born and raised in Vidor, she had been a longtime resident of the town before relocating to Beaumont a few years ago. Laura was known for her warm and loving nature, always cherishing the moments spent with her family. She had a deep passion for fishing, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of the water. Among her many loves, one that stood out was her genuine affection for babies; she truly adored their innocence and brought joy to every little one she encountered. She is survived by her sister, Ethel Teal of Vidor, TX, and leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Laura Jane Odom will be remembered not only for her kind heart but also for the joy and love she shared with those fortunate enough to be a part of her life. May she rest in peace.
