Laurence Chapman, 55, of Vidor died Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Austin, TX. A native of Dallas, TX., he has lived in Austin for 2 years and was a retired electrician lineman. Memorial services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Era Chapman. He is survived by his sons, Jason Chapman and wife Sara of Huffman, TX., and Joshua Chapman of Menomonie, WI., brothers, Howard Chapman and wife Sharon of Caldwell, TX., and LC Chapman of Groveton, TX., sisters, Fron Miller and husband Carlos of Vidor, and Kathy Merritt of Houston, TX., and one granddaughter Josephine Chapman.
