Lawrence Byron Mansfield

Lawrence Byron Mansfield, 83, of Vidor died Friday, January 27, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Orange County, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Lawrence was retired from Bethlehem Steel were he was a carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #502 and First Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 29, 2006 at First Pentecostal Church, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lawrence in survived by his wife Jessie Mansfield of Vidor, TX, son: Sonny Beason of Lafayette, LA, daughters: Gloria Arthur of Florien, LA, Shelda Corliss of Vidor, TX, Libby Boulet of Vidor, TX, Wanda Chancellor of Vidor, TX, sister: Juanita Webber of Brookeland, TX, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
