Layton "Butch" Earl Lockett

Butch Lockett, 71, of Vidor died Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Vidor. A native of Sioux City, Iowa, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Butch worked for the Department of Public Safety in Alaska for 10 years. He served his country in the US Marine Corps. and was an associate member of the DAV Tiger Lyons Chapter #236 in Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 30, 2015 survived by the mother of his 3 children Alice Lockett Longley, Children are Mark Lockett and his wife Patsie, Donny Lockett and his wife Becky and Lisa Lockett Martinez and husband Tom. Grandchildren are Devin Espinoza and his wife Brianna, Allison Espinoza, Hunter Espinoza, Bailey Espinoza, Lauren Lockett, Stepgrand children are Christal Roberts, Kelsey Inman, Brain Allen and Brad Allen. Along with 3 great grandchildren, brother Bruce Lockett of Vidor, TX, sister Carol Colbert of Magnolia, TX, 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews
