Lena Lee Poland

Lena L. Poland, 94, of Buna died Friday, July 6, 2007 at Buna Nursing Home in Buna, TX. A native of Bronson, TX., she lived in Rose City for 40 years before moving to Buna 10 years ago. She was a retired telephone operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and a longtime faithful member of Rose City Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Colmesneil City Cemetery in Colmesneil, TX at a later time. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. She is survived by her son Phillip Charlton of Buna, sisters Louise Waller, and Jonnie Campbell both of Vidor, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
