Leonard Worthy, Jr.

Leonard “Bill” Worthy, Jr, 76, of Vidor died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Rayville, Louisiana, he lived in Vidor for36 years. Bill was self-employed in the construction business and was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bill is survived by his sons: Hank Worthy of Vidor, TX, W.M. Bill Worth of Denton, TX, Larry Worthy and Bryan Worthy both of Vidor, TX, daughters: Georgia Taylor and Emma Fluarty both of Coalinga, CA, Deborah Baxter of Bakersfield, CA, Donna Burge of Vidor, TX, Debbie Swift of Elizabeth Town, KY, 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
