Lesley Ann Bass Newman

Lesley Ann Bass Newman, 39, of Vidor, died Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022 in Vidor. She was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lesley was a member of Turning Point Church in Vidor and was the cosmetology teacher at Vidor High School. She loved going on trips, whether it was going to Arkansas, floating the river, taking boat rides, or going dancing, hunting or fishing, she always enjoyed being outdoors and all the activities they did. Lesley loved being around people, especially her family, friends, and her school family and all the children she had pleasure of teaching. She was very passionate about her job and enjoyed doing activities with the kids and was always eager to help anyone she could. Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and the family will have a celebration of life for Lesley at Turning Point Church in Vidor on Sunday, August 28, 2022 with a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM and the service beginning at 3:00 PM. She is survived by her husband of 12 years Billy Newman of Vidor, TX, children Emberleigh Steele and Trevor Newman of Vidor, TX, mother Nelda Bass of Vidor, TX, brother B.J. Bass, sister Toni Bass and Lindsey Bass, and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Jeff Bass Sr..
