Lois Taylor

November 18, 1925 — May 23, 2020

Lois Taylor, 94, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. A native of Beaumont she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lois was a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church where she mentored people and was known as a Prayer Warrior. She volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for many years. Lois enjoyed doing art, doodling, and writing poems. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park with interment to follow. Lois is survived by 3 daughters; Jerrie Chauvin of Beaumont, Judy Mithchell and her husband Gayland of Leesville, LA, and Lois Talavera of Vidor, 3 sons; M.L. Leverkuhn and his wife Rita of Vidor, Joseph Leverkuhn of Smithville, TX and Adam Leger and his wife Tina of Vidor. She is also survived by numerous grandchilddren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with 1 brother; J.D. Esclavon. Lois was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
