Lora Viola Tarver

Lora V. Tarver, 86, of Jasper died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, TX. A native of San Augustine County, she has lived in Jasper for 10 years, and was a retired health care provider, and a proud member of the VFW post in Orange, TX. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin Monday, February 21, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. She is survived by her daughters Margaret Rowland of Brookeland, TX., Maxie Gibson of Vidor, TX., and Mavis Cowan of Sacramento, CA., sisters, Lois Lakey Alloway, and Gladys Choates both of Orange, TX., eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
