Loretta A. Stephens

Loretta A. Stephens, 72, of Vidor went to be with our Lord June 11, 2010. A native of Ged, LA, She was a longtime resident of Vidor. Loretta was a LVN and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. She was a member of the VFW Post 8246 and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills, TX at 1:00 p.m.. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Loretta is survived by her husband of 57 years Ronald Stephens, sons Michael Stephens and his wife Charlotte of Silsbee, TX, and Mark Stephens of Beaumont, TX, daughters Connie Stunkard and her husband Ed of Vidor, TX, Donna Cooper and her husband Tommy of Oakley, CA, grandsons Tommy Kitchens of VA, Timothy Stephens of Sour Lake, TX, Todd Stephens of Germany, Scooter Stunkard of Vidor, TX, granddaughters Melissa Haag of Silsbee, TX,Tabatha Cooper of Oakley, CA, and Misty Smith of LA, 10 great grandchildren, her aunt Leatha Lindsey of Vidor and brother-in-law Harry Stephens and his wife Margie of Orange, TX. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of their choice.
