Louis Edward Stanley

Louis E. Stanley, 69 of Vidor died Thursday, December 14th, 2017 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Louis was a member Victory Temple Church in Beaumont and he retired from the Local Carpenters Union. He severed his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. with 2 tour in the Vietnam conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Louis enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved riding his Harley. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 18, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Louis is preceded in death by his father Royce Stanley and mother Anita Jones, brothers Richard and Michael Stanley, nephew Marcus Stanley. He is survived by his daughter Nakia Stanley Dodson and husband Russell of Vidor, TX, brother Robert Stanley of Zavalla, TX,
2 granddaughters Ashley and Natalie Dodson and 1 great grandson Jackson Dodson.
