Louis Nolan Chesser

Louis N. Chesser, 105, of Vidor died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Llano, Texas, he has lived in Vidor for 80 years, and was a welder and butane truck driver for Chesser Butane Lumber Company. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Louis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lena Estelle Chesser and two sons, Jimmy and Latrelle Chesser. Louis is survived by his sons Gaylon Chesser of Buna, and Jerry Chesser of West Point, GA., fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
