Louise York

Louise York born Dec. 17, 1926 in Merryville, LA., moved to Honey Island, TX., at age 9. She graduated from Honey Island High School and married Robert York on June 21, 1946. They moved to Vidor in 1953. She retired from Fox Photo after 21 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert York, her father George Deason and mother Bertie Deason, sister Doris Langston. She is survived by her son Doug York and wife Brenda of Vidor, daughter Brenda Roshto and husband Irvin of Vidor, sister Peggy Bean and husband Talmadge of Beaumont, five grandchildren: Chad York, Tara Zyp, Robie York, J.D. Pate, Jr and Mark Pate, five great grandchildren: Kaitlyn York, Emily Zyp, Chaz and Grace York and Charles York, three nephews: Jackie Langston and wife Harriet of Village Mills, Dale Bean and wife Darla of Bevil Oaks, and Jerry Bean and wife Bobbie of China, TX.
