Lydia T. McClelland, 75, of Vidor died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Jennings, LA., she has lived in Vidor since 1990 and was a homemaker. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maxie Cemetery in Maxie, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband Ewert Clarence McClelland. She is survived by her sons: John H. McClelland of Lafayette, LA., Ernest Orin McClelland of Vidor, TX., Thomas James McClelland of Basile, LA., and David Wayne McClelland of Vidor, TX., daughter Janice McClelland of Baton Rouge, LA., sisters: Leola Dies of Lake Charles, LA., Lena Duhon of Phoenix, AZ., Lorine Dailey of Bandera, TX., and Gloria Duhon of San Diego, CA., twenty-seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
