Mable Borque Bearden

Mable Bearden, 87, of Mauriceville died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at her residence. A native of China, TX., she lived in Vidor for 39 years before moving to Orange 14 years ago, and was a homemaker. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home with a Christian Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Vernon Charles Bearden, Sr., sons Vernon Charles Bearden Jr., and Roy Glen Bearden, and grandson Vernon Charles Bearden III. She is survived by her sons James Douglas Bearden of Vidor, and Walter Leon Bearden of Silsbee, daughter Karen Rollans of Orange, brother Milton Joseph Borque of Fort Worth, TX., thirteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
