Marcel Nugent

Marcel Nugent, 63, of Vidor died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of New Iberia, LA., he has lived in Vidor since 1979, and was a retired operator after 38 years with Dupont in Orange, TX. Marcel has been a member of the Beaumont Yacht Club since 1979, and was a on-again off-again board member for 19 years. Funeral services will be Friday, February 4, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor, all under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Ruth Nugent of Vidor, sons, Gary Lee Lamar of Vidor, Michael Kent Nugent of Tyler, TX., and Monty Storm Nugent of Las Cruces, NM., daughters, Beverly Ruth Hesseltine of Vidor, TX., and Marci Lynn Hamilton of Tyler, TX., brothers, Victor Nugent of Bridge City, TX., Richard Nugent of Pasadena, TX., and William Nugent of Orangefield, TX., eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four god children.
