Margaret A. Platt, 72, of Vidor died Sunday, September 11, 2005 at her residence in Vidor. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Vidor. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at First Baptist Church, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Vidor. Margaret is survived by her husband Leon Platt of Vidor, TX, son: Gary Platt and his wife Karrie of Vidor, TX, daughter: Judy Richard and her husband Don of Vidor, TX, brother: Paul Mayes of Parkton, NC, grandchildren: Mandy Hoge and her husband Eric of Vidor, TX, Adam Richard of Dallas, TX, Shane and Laura Platt both of Vidor, TX, great-grandson: A.J.
