Margaret Leah Hanson

Margaret Hanson, 75, of Vidor died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at her residence. Margaret was born on November 9, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas to Leo and Mary Gee. She was a police officer for 10 years in Olathe, KS and a Para Legal for the law office of John Parks in Humanville, MO for 20 years. Margaret was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice, LA were she lived for 5 years before moving to Vidor 2 years ago. A funeral outside of mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Margaret is survived by her sons Bill Hanson of San Diego, CA, and Ronald Hanson of Wichita, KS, daughter Christine Hebert of Vidor, TX, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
